BHFC Design staff participate as an integral team member during the in the planning, design and construction of remodeling renovations, additions and new construction projects.

We work closely with both the owner, design team and contractor throughout all phases of the programming, design and construction, making suggestions to assist the design team and owner with creating the best possible therapeutic environment and the safest possible facility for the patients and staff that will be occupying the space for many years to come.

 

Services offered may include:

• Active participation during multi-disciplinary user group working sessions

• Journey mapping and experiential planning

• Space and functional programming

• Assistance with low fidelity and high fidelity mock-ups for select areas

• Mental + behavioral health product demonstration

• Assistance with options for product selection

• Peer review of design documents

• Submittal review

• Construction observations as select milestones

• Other assistance, as needed
