To whom it may concern,
I would like to acknowledge the outstanding services Jim Hunt has provided to our Psychiatric Hospital projects. I first worked with Jim on a post occupancy survey of our recently completed North Carolina Central Psychiatric Hospital in 2007 and have since worked with him on two subsequent psychiatric hospitals for the state of North Carolina – New Cherry Hospital and New Broughton Hospital. On each of these projects, Jim has supplemented our team with his deep knowledge of   behavioral healthcare facilities anda focus on patient and staff safety. Jim’s hands   on experience and knowledge of architectural practice allows him to integrate seamlessly into project   teams at just the right times to improve patient environments and help designers and owners navigate potential safety and liability issues, I highly recommend his services.
Jim has worked in, visited, and advised on numerous mental health institutions and thus carries the hands on   experience and practical understanding of hospital operations that informs his opinions and observations. Moreover, his continued research and publications are not only practical to architects planning behavior.al health facilities, but also give his recommendations strong credibility with clients and hospital   staff. Jim is easy to work with, always available for consultation, and understand the   level of review appropriate to each stage of an evolving project. His comments are clear, well documented, and offer means of resolution.
It continues to be a pleasure working with Jim. He is a strong asset to design teams, and I am confident that he will live up to and exceed your expectations in every way.
Sincerely,

To Whom It May Concern:

I am pleased to provide this reference letter on behalf of Jim Hunt, Behavioral Health Facility Consulting.  Our organization is the largest psychiatric services provider in the State of New Mexico, and includes two inpatient facilities and large ambulatory programs for both adults and children.

Our facility has contracted with Mr. Hunt over the last few years to provide expert recommendations related to potential hazards and recommendations for design materials in our existing facilities, as well as a new facility we are constructing in Sandoval County New Mexico.  Mr. Hunt has been involved with the development of the new project and has provided expert review and feedback on design elements and materials.

During this process Mr. Hunt has communicated and worked well with both the design teams, architects’ and owners to assure that our facilities incorporate the latest design in hazard prevention.  Mr. Hunt has been extremely responsive and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done correctly.  Our organization has found him to be extremely knowledgeable and professional in our interactions.

Sincerely,

Rodney McNease
