NASA Deep Space Habitat

nasa-logoJames M. Hunt, AIA , President of Behavioral Health Facility Consulting, LLC is honored to be invited to participate as a subject matter expert in a NASA Standing Review Panel to assist with the further development of the deep space habitat.  This panel will perform an independent review of the current-status of work on this project.  The ultimate result will be the development of a habitat for six astronauts to live, work and sleep in for up to three years on a trip Mars.  During this trip they will not have any physical support from earth in the form of receiving supplies or physical assistance of any kind.

This is a very exciting project and he is very much looking forward a two-day meeting in December at the Johnson Space Center in Houston to participate in this review.  An update will be posted after the meeting.
